My name is Rafay Naseem. I have always been very interested in music. Music is a part of everyone's life, whether its listening to it on the radio on your way to work, or getting hyped up for your high school football game. I play on my high schools soccer and lacrosse teams and music is a huge part of the "pregame rituals." We listen to music that is fast and energetic to get our adrenaline levels up so we can play at our best. Music is a part of culture all around the world and I love to create my own sounds. I played guitar when I was little for about 2 years, but I felt a little bored from that. I also tried the drums for a year, as well as joining the school choir, but something wasn't right. I started getting really into music when I was about twelve. My brother introduced me to the world of hip-hop/pop music and I loved it. Then, in about seventh grade, my friend introduced me to the world of music technology. I was very intrigued by it because you didn't have to be able to play an instrument to create your own unique sounds and beats. I loved taking part in the music technology class because we had a lot of freedom making our beats.
